AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch Volunteers at ALFC Generosity Center on 08/15/26

On August 15, 2026, youth members of the AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch spent the morning volunteering at the ALFC Generosity Center in Rancho Cucamonga. The group came together to assist with the center’s efforts to support individuals and families in the local community. Volunteers began their service at 7:20 AM and continued until 1:00 PM, with each volunteer completing 5.5 hours.

Throughout the morning, volunteers took part in a variety of activities to help prepare food for distribution. They helped sort fresh fruits and vegetables, arrange canned and packaged foods, and put together food boxes for families who needed additional assistance. Completing these tasks helped keep the center organized and allowed food to be prepared for distribution more efficiently.

The volunteers worked closely with one another throughout the event. They divided responsibilities, communicated when completing different tasks, and helped each other when additional work was needed. This experience allowed them to develop practical teamwork skills while learning more about the importance of community food programs.

Volunteering at the center also gave the students an opportunity to see how much coordination is involved in preparing and distributing donated food. Their participation allowed them to contribute directly to the center’s daily operations while becoming more aware of the needs within their community.

At the conclusion of the service event, the volunteers completed their assigned tasks and reflected on the experience. The project demonstrated the importance of cooperation and community involvement and gave the volunteers an opportunity to make a useful contribution through their time and effort.

The August 15 service event represents another successful community service activity organized through the AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch. By consistently participating in volunteer projects, the branch continues to encourage young people to become active members of their community and contribute to causes that help others.
