From Monday to Thursday, 8/10-8/13, AYLUS members collaborated with Journey’s End Refugee Services for their summer program at various local areas. Volunteers assisted with camp setup and cleanup, and supervised and engaged with children in sports activities. Interacting positively with refugee children in a safe environment makes them feel welcome and comfortable, and our volunteers’ work is valued by the community and kids. This activity was from 8:30AM to 2:00PM.
