On Thursday, August 6th, the Great Neck AYLUS Branch hosted another productive session at the Great Neck Station Library. Together, Olivia Kang and Brendan Chen reviewed and guided a student through multiple topics in Pre-Algebra, helping them with summer assignments/homework. Junlin Yu led a read-aloud with a younger child, working on English pronunciation and communicating in Chinese. In anticipation for the state test, Summer Lu and her student, a third-grader, worked on practice problems and structures centered around specific topics. Brian Zhang and his student played hand soccer in front of the building and participated in various entertaining activities (Ex., sports, games). The session was a busy and enjoyable one, with all tutors being able to assist a tutee. The next session will be on Tuesday, August 11th.
