On July 31st 2026, AYLUS Great Neck Branch volunteers went to Firefighter Park to play sports with the kids there. It ended up being a relaxing day with things slowing down for people to chill. Volunteers hung around the swings with the kids and at the end played a bit of table tennis. This led up to the volunteers to catch up with each other while socializing with the kids there.
Taking a break every so often is important especially during the summer to be able to do fun activities constantly. Breaks can help with rejuvenating energy and more focus that will benefit productivity. Communication too will drastically boost the mood of people too to learn about one another.The members of AYLUS will continue to hold events like these in the future.
