On July 10,2026, AYLUS Houston Branch volunteers took part in a community service event at Katy Christian Ministries (KCM) in Katy, Texas. Five volunteers spent 4 hours sorting donated clothes and hanging them on hangers.
At first, the clothes were mixed together in large piles. The selection was divided into groups, with one group checking and classifying the clothes by type. The other group of people hung the clothes on hangers and arranged them on the shelf according to size and category.
Through this activity, volunteers helped KCM to sort out the donated clothes more suitable for sale. We also learned how teamwork and a clear system can make tasks more efficient. The event shows the continuous commitment of the AYLUS Houston branch to giving back to Katy.
