On Friday, July 24, 2026, members of the South Orange-Maplewood Branch volunteered with the Maplewood, New Jersey Health Department. There, members Troy Stevenson-House and Sylvie Hannon spent three hours promoting the department’s summer meal program, vaccination program, and free dental service.
In that time, the members hung up over 100 at local restaurants and small businesses located in bustling areas of downtown, which maximized public reach and visibility of the health department’s programs and ensured that the benefits of the services would be accessible to any individuals who may need them.
