AYLUS Basking Ridge is honored to receive the 2025–2026 Branch of the Year Award in recognition of its continued dedication to youth volunteerism and community service. Each year, only 10 branches out of more than 180 AYLUS branches nationwide receive this prestigious honor, making this achievement a testament to the hard work, passion, and commitment of our members.
Throughout the year, our student volunteers generously dedicate their free time to serving the local community through a wide range of meaningful programs. Our weekly iPad Club and Tech Support Program at the local senior center help older adults develop digital skills, navigate modern technology, and stay safe online through cybersecurity education. We also provide weekly support to local neurodiversity organizations through our Special Education Program, creating inclusive learning opportunities and meaningful connections.
In addition, AYLUS Basking Ridge volunteers regularly serve at PEC and the YMCA’s Saturday in Motion program, assisting children with special needs in rehabilitation activities. These programs help participants build confidence, develop social skills, feel more comfortable in group and public settings, and raise autism awareness throughout the community.
AYLUS Basking Ridge has also proudly supported the Good Grief 5K Run & Walk for four consecutive years, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to families and children coping with grief and loss.
Looking ahead, AYLUS Basking Ridge will continue expanding its technology and AI education initiatives while promoting physical and mental health education for people of all ages. We also remain committed to supporting neurodiverse individuals and fostering a more inclusive, caring community through meaningful volunteer service.
