AYLUS Great Neck Branch Volunteers at Kings Point Park (65th) (7/12/2026)

On July 12, 2026, the AYLUS Great Neck Branch returned to Kings Point Park to clear and smooth the walking trails, welcoming three new members to the team. Tackling a deep section of the woods, the volunteers braved numerous mosquito bites to clear an exceptionally long pathway. The team covered so much ground that walking from their starting point to the finish line took nearly 15 minutes.
The primary focus remained on leveling mulch and removing large, obstructive wood chips. This essential work ensures the trails are safe and accessible, allowing both park maintenance vehicles and local nature enthusiasts to navigate the woods securely.
The project offered a wonderful opportunity for members to bond with their new teammates and connect with nature. Through this hands-on effort, the Great Neck Branch proudly continues to uphold the core AYLUS mission of community service, convenience, and care.
