On July 7th, 2026, AYLUS Lake Washington members Kevin Chen, Zhu Jiayi, and Song Xingchen volunteered at the Big Rock Park Central Heritage Garden with the Sammamish Botanical Garden Society. They were taught by experienced individuals how to clean and harvest high quality produce from the garden. The members also participated in weeding to stop the growth of unwanted plants. They each volunteered for two hours, starting at 10:00 AM and ending at 12:00 PM.
