On July 3, 2026, four members of the AYLUS San Clemente Branch: Miah Zhou, Tylon Zhou, Melvin Jiang, and Jasmine Zheng volunteered at Salt Creek Beach, cleaning up littered trash. They were also accompanied by former member and founder president, Elena Hsieh. The volunteers arrived at the beach at 3 pm, equipped with trash bags, gloves and trash pickers. They then walked along the upper beach walkways and grass areas, picking up stray candy wrappers, plastic wrappings and napkins, along with a few pet waste bags. The combined efforts of these volunteers contributed to the preservation of Salt Creek Beach’s cleanliness and beauty. They all earned two volunteer hours each.
