On June 26, 2026, two members volunteered at Cary Learning Center as TAs.
Our main responsibility was to serve as general activity assistants, concentrating on literacy, creative arts, cooking support, and supervised play. For the activities, our volunteers needed to move around and assist campers when they encountered difficulties. During lunch, volunteers would help teachers with cooking or oversee the children to ensure everyone washed their hands before and after meals. The goal was to create a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere for the campers.
Volunteering at this summer camp is about being dependable, patient, and eager to support a child’s summer happiness.
