Today at Ridge Oak, volunteers help seniors with many different questions including how to transfer an account on YahooMail onto the Apple Mail app. There was a follow up question on how to sign in to an account that the customer had forgotten. There were also several different questions such as what the password app does, and how to move/delete different apps. Finally a senior had an issue with using google maps that the volunteer helped to teach them.
Overall, today’s session was very successful with the volunteer receiving praise from the seniors for their work. This session helped both the volunteer and seniors feel a deeper sense of community and helping others.
