Today at Fellowship Village, there were many different questions such as how to find/ buy books on amazon, as well as how to add filters onto an image. There were also questions regarding organizing photos into different albums, turning off “focus” modes on the phone to allow notifications, and deleting spam apps.
At today’s tech session, both seniors and volunteers felt more connected to each other, and understood what it meant to be a community. Other than just helping with technology, volunteers also bonded with seniors over common interests and introduced the AYLUS organization to them. After the technology helped, many of the seniors left with smiles and thanks towards the volunteers.
