On May 9, 2026 to the visit to the nursing home, our volunteers spent some time engaging with the residents through a morning workout and an art activity.
The volunteers began by leading the residents in a series of simple exercises, including finger movements and leg movements, to help them stay active and improve mobility.
After the exercise session, they read a book about Vincent van Gogh and introduced some of his most famous paintings. Many residents expressed that they enjoyed learning about Van Gogh and appreciated the opportunity to explore his art.
Overall, the visit allowed for the nursing home residents to engage in physical activity and to explore and discuss art.
