On June 6, 2026, AYLUS Space Coast visited a local library to conduct a Cancer Awareness booth. We distributed flyers prepared by our members that focused on skin cancer and lung cancer awareness.
As summer approaches and people spend more time outdoors, we took the opportunity to remind our community about the importance of sun protection and skin cancer prevention. Our members encouraged individuals to use sunscreen regularly and practice healthy habits to reduce their risk of skin damage and skin cancer.
As people passed by, our members shared resources and answered questions about cancer prevention methods. Many community members expressed their appreciation for our efforts and thanked us for helping spread important health knowledge.
Through this activity, our members were able to promote health education and enforce greater awareness of cancer prevention.
