AYLUS Great Neck Branch Tutoring at Station Library 117th (6/9/26)

On June 9th, Great Neck AYLUS hosted another successful tutoring session at the Great Neck Library Station Branch from 6:00-7:00 pm. To start off, Olivia and Brian helped a younger student with preparation questions for AMC 8. Tackling practice problems in combinatorics and probability required deep thinking and careful consideration. Although the task was hard, it was still completed on time. Meanwhile, Summer guided another young student in studying Spanish, focusing on vocabulary and sentence structure, and later helped with social studies by delving deeper into the civil rights movement. Linzi then assisted an even younger student by reading picture books together and introducing important vocabulary to support future writing and reading. For the last tutor, Junlin worked with another student on English, specifically analyzing long texts to explore the author’s point of view. Throughout the session, everyone worked diligently and finished their assignments accurately and on time. It was a great tutoring session overall.
