On June 7th, 2026, AYLUS Syosset held its fifth volunteer-led community basketball event at Syosset-Woodbury Community Park (11791). Participants of various ages joined a one-hour fundamentals session focused on dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork, followed by a group photo. During the second hour, children ages six and older participated in friendly scrimmage games while younger participants enjoyed supervised free play nearby. The event encouraged healthy outdoor activity, teamwork, and positive social interaction among local youth.
