AYLUS Great Neck Branch Volunteers at Kings Point Park (62th) (6/7/2026)

On June 7th, 2026, AYLUS Great Neck Branch volunteered at Kings Point Park to help improve the Kings Point walking trail for the local community. Eight volunteers participated in this activity. Using rakes, we worked together to clear fallen leaves, pines and fallen sticks. In addition, trash was collected and disposed of, including soda cans, candy wrappers and styrofoam. This helped flatten the trail’s surface, and created a cleaner and safer environment for visitors and families enjoying the park.

Although the work was tiring and rain began falling in the middle of the experience, all of the volunteers stayed committed and cooperated efficiently as a team. Some volunteers gathered leaves into a pile, while others focused on finding and gathering garbage to be disposed of. Through this volunteer activity, we contributed to the community and continued to uphold AYLUS’s mission of meaningful service.
