Murrieta AYLUS Collects and Donates Clothes ( #17) (05/30/2026)

On May 30 2026, Murrieta AYLUS donated the gently used clothing and shoes to Angel View thrift stores in Temecula.

Angel View is a nonprofit that helps children and adults with disabilities, especially those with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities. Their services include:

  • Medical and rehabilitation care

  • Therapy and support programs

  • Residential care for adults with disabilities

  • Vocational training and employment support

From time to time, AYLUS Murrieta members go through their homes and collect clothing, shoes, bags, and other items that they have outgrown or no longer use. Members carefully sort and fold the clothing before packing it into donation bags for delivery.

The volunteers then meet at the Angel View donation center to drop off the items. These donations can be distributed to individuals and families in need, giving gently used belongings a second life while helping members of the community. Through participating in this project on a regular basis, members learn the importance of reducing waste, sharing resources, and supporting those who may be facing financial challenges. The project also encourages members to be mindful of what they own and to find meaningful ways to give back to others.
