On May 17, 2026, AYLUS Murrieta members volunteered at Atria Senior Living Center.
The residents are always excited to see the young volunteers on Sunday afternoons, when it’s usually quiet at the facility. The piano performances brought energy, joy, and a lively atmosphere throughout the building.
Residents enjoyed the music in different ways. Some chose to sit in the library, where they could interact directly with our members, and listen to the performances up close and and share compliments and words of encouragement with the young musicians. Others relaxed in the lobby, where the music could still be heard clearly throughout the area. Some residents gathered near the ice cream parlor, enjoying both the beautiful piano music and a sweet treat at the same time.
It was wonderful to see how music brought people together and brightened the afternoon for residents throughout the community.
