On Tuesday, May 26th, AYLUS volunteers gathered at the Great Neck Library Station Branch to help students with different topics. Brian helped a student with statistics and his French project, helping him understand problems and solve questions. Siwoo worked with a student on math and explained difficult questions without the use of algebra. Junlin helped a student learn properties of math (commutative property, associative property, and distributive property), by guiding him through practice problems. Overall, the tutoring session was a success and a great experience for both the volunteers and the students.
