On May 16, 2026, AYLUS Murrieta members returned to the Jacob’s House garden to continue caring for the vegetables and maintaining the growing area.
After arriving at the garden, members started by loosening the soil, removing weeds, and checking on the condition of the plants. The tomato plants had grown significantly since our last visit, so we spent time tying and trellising them to provide better support as they continue to grow and produce fruit.
Along the fence, members found many weeds that had spread throughout the garden. Some had deep and stubborn roots, making them difficult to remove. Working together, we pulled the weeds out, keep the garden look tidy.
