The AYLUS Morris Branch proudly partnered with GRACE (Give and Receive Assistance for our Community’s Essentials) to support mothers and babies in need through a community baby-feeding and nursing supplies donation drive. Over the past several weeks, branch members reached out to neighbors and local community members to collect essential supplies for families facing financial hardship. Thanks to the generosity and kindness of the community, the drive was a great success.
Through this initiative, members collected a large amount of baby-feeding and nursing supplies, including over 100 breast milk storage bags and more than 50 nursing pads, along with many other essential baby care items. These supplies can provide meaningful support and comfort for mothers caring for newborns and young children. Every donation, no matter the size, reflected the community’s compassion and willingness to help families in need.
On the morning of May 14, AYLUS Morris Branch members personally delivered all collected donations to GRACE. Members were grateful for the opportunity to work together on a project that directly benefits local families and strengthens community connections. The experience was both meaningful and rewarding, as students were able to see how collective efforts can create a positive impact on others’ lives.
The AYLUS Morris Branch would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to the donation drive and helped make this event possible. We are especially grateful to GRACE for partnering with us and continuing to support families throughout the community. Through service projects like this, AYLUS members hope to continue spreading kindness, compassion, and support to those who need it most.
