On May 11th, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, volunteers from the AYLUS Great Neck Branch met at the Great Neck House for the Accessible Art Program. During this program, we helped people with special needs explore their creativity through making glass bead magnets and pipe cleaner flowers. By using sketches and magazine clippings, we helped the participants create personalized and artistic magnets.
The session was a success, and we enjoyed working together as a team. This experience showed us the value of community service and how art helps people build confidence and be calm. Through these activities, they were able to express themselves and feel more empowered.
We are proud to support the AYLUS mission and look forward to more creative volunteer work. We are grateful for the chance to serve the community and help those in need through these programs.
