On April 26, 2025, AYLUS Murrieta members volunteered at Jacob’s House Garden to support ongoing garden maintenance and community efforts. Members first went to Home Depot to buy the seasonal vegetables for planting. One member, experienced in selecting produce, carefully chose healthy and strong plants to ensure better growth, they total selected 15 plants.
At the garden, members first plan out the planting areas, making sure each type of vegetable was grouped appropriately within the same garden bed. They spaced the plants evenly, dug holes, and carefully transplanted each one into the soil. After planting, members patiently watered the new plants, ensuring the water soaked deep into the roots.
