AYLUS St. Louis Branch Volunteer at St. Louis Chinese Culture Days

On Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3, 2026, AYLUS members volunteered at the St. Louis Chinese Culture Days, a two-day cultural event at the Missouri Botanical Garden. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day and features many wonderful cultural activities, including the opening ceremony, dragon boat display, Chinese marketplace, arts and crafts, cooking demonstrations, performances, and docent activities in the Chinese Garden.

Our members supported the event in several important volunteer roles, including volunteer check-in, wheelchair assistance, Zero Waste Ambassador support, and Kemper Cooking Demo assistance. These roles help keep the event organized, welcoming, accessible, and environmentally friendly.
