This April 30th, 2026, 6 members of AYLUS San Clemente went to their nearest Hazardous Waste Collection Center and recycled batteries. These batteries were collected from the member’s households or workplaces and stored in a trash bag to be given to waste center. This prevents batteries entering landfills which is beneficial for our environment because of the possible toxic chemicals and heavy metals that could leach into the surrounding area. Thank you to all members who participated and protected our environment.
