On April 20, 2026, members of AYLUS Basking Ridge volunteered at the Ridge Oak Senior Center as part of their ongoing weekly service program. Every Monday, volunteers visit the center to assist seniors with a variety of technology-related questions, helping them better navigate devices such as smartphones, tablets, and computers.
Although attendance was lighter than usual this week, the volunteers made meaningful use of the time by reflecting on their past experiences. They discussed common questions raised by seniors, shared effective solutions, and exchanged ideas on how to improve their communication and support strategies. This collaborative discussion allowed members to strengthen their skills and better prepare for future sessions.
The team remains committed to supporting the senior community and will continue the program next Monday, providing patient guidance and fostering stronger connections through technology assistance.
