AYLUS Great Neck Branch volunteers for Great Neck Park District (55th) 4/12/26

On April 12th, 2026, AYLUS helped volunteer at Kings Point Park, spreading wood chips to level out trails at the park. This was to prevent ditches from being formed on the trail due to tire tracks, so visitors could further enjoy the beauty of the trail at Kings Point Park. We did this by using rakes and raked out wood chips on uneven parts of the trail, and leveled out the soil, making sure the trail was even. This action was done for 2 hours along the trail, seeing major improvements along the trail as it was flat, making it easier for park visitors to walk along. With spring coming along, AYLUS helped Kings Point Park get ready for a larger influx of visitors on the trails.
