Event Description

On April 11, 2026, volunteers from the AYLUS Irvine Branch hosted a hands-on activity at a local senior center from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. During the event, members worked closely with seniors to create decorative flower baskets, guiding them step-by-step through the process.

Volunteers provided assistance and encouragement while teaching simple crafting techniques, allowing seniors to express their creativity and enjoy a relaxing, engaging activity. Throughout the event, members spent time talking and bonding with participants, creating a warm and welcoming environment.

This activity fostered creativity, companionship, and intergenerational connection, while reflecting AYLUS Irvine’s commitment to supporting and uplifting the senior community through meaningful engagement.
