On April 4th, 2026, members of AYLUS San Clemente branch participated in the Rancho Mission Viejo Spring Festival at The Pavilion. Volunteers helped support an event that celebrated the Spring season including outdoor activities, exotic animal farms, and educational nature reviews.
The festival featured a wide variety of attractions for the youth. Activities included obstacle courses, a zipline, a rock wall, feeding lorikeets, a four-person bungee jump, and opportunities to meet exotic animals. Guests could also explore The Nature Reserve’s Glen and visit several booths offering giveaways, games, and interactive experiences.
Throughout the event, volunteers Eastwood Zhang, Clint Zhou, Wendy Zhuang, Miah Zhou, Tylon Zhou, Melvin Jiang, Milly Wu, and Shuqi Hu, assisted with organizing activities, guiding attendees, and ensuring that each station ran smoothly. Each volunteer contributed 4 hours to this event. The environment was lively, with many families and children actively participating in the different attractions. Popular areas included the obstacle courses and animal-related activities, where lines remained steady for most of the event.
The members of AYLUS contributed their time and effort to create a fun and engaging experience for the community while promoting outdoor exploration and learning.
