On April 2nd, AYLUS volunteers once again gathered at the Great Neck Library Station Branch to support students across a range of academic subjects. Siwoo worked one-on-one with a 6th-grade student on science concepts involving measurements and scaling. Jason assisted a student preparing for the 3rd-grade English state test, focusing on identifying central ideas and understanding vocabulary. Meanwhile, Summer and Lucy helped another student strengthen their math skills by reviewing how to add and subtract fractions with different denominators. Baiyu supported a student in developing English reading and writing skills, while Junlin guided another student through an English assignment, offering feedback and helping with revisions. Overall, the tutoring session proved to be a productive and rewarding experience for both the volunteers and the students.
