On March 28, 2026, members of AYLUS Frisco-Plano participated in an Easter Egg Hunt event at CCCFC. Volunteers made cotton candy, balloons, and face painting, selling them to the people in the event for fundraising for children’s hospitals. There were 22 participants in the event, with equal numbers working on balloon making, cotton candy production, and face painting.
The event lasted from 1:50 PM to 4:50 PM, with almost all 22 volunteers staying for the entire event. There were many children in line for the face painting section of our booth, as well as the
balloon section. The most popular section by far was the cotton candy making, and from the moment we started all the way until the end, the queue for the cotton candy selling was never ending. Because the cotton candy machine was placed outside compared to the balloon and
face painting stations, and many children and adults alike stopped by to buy one. In the end, many people in the Egg Hunt Event can be seen holding a balloon sword, wearing face paint, or eating a stick of cotton candy.
At the end of the event, all the volunteers stayed to clean up the station and pack up the supplies.
The members of AYLUS worked their hardest the entire afternoon, providing the local community with delights for both adults and children. Good job volunteers!
