On Saturday, March 21st, the AYLUS Houston branch returned to Katy Christian Ministries for another productive volunteer session. Over the course of 4 busy but impactful hours, our dedicated members focused on wiping dusty glass surfaces, p and organizing the clothes. Through our efforts, we helped make the retail store significantly cleaner and more organized, directly benefiting the small business and improving customer satisfaction.
We are truly proud of our members for their dedication and hard work. Their teamwork and communication were essential in making the shift productive, once again demonstrating that critical community needs are met with and through strong engagement and responsiveness from youth volunteers. The success of that day was made possible by KCM’s approval of the shift and the contributions of our volunteers, and we extend our deepest gratitude to both.
We eagerly look forward to our next opportunity to continue serving at Katy Christian Ministries, whether at the retail store, food center, community garden, food pantry, or elsewhere, as we continue our mission to make a positive and meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Volunteers (4 hours): Jessie Fan, Lucas Fan, Kun Jiang, Eason Jin, Eva Zhang, Shuda Li, Daniel Green, Nathan Mu
