West Essex AYLUS members are working to expand opportunities to play and learn Quiz Bowl in the local community. Quiz Bowl offers an environment that empowers students by encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and rapid recall of knowledge across a wide range of subjects. Livingston high school hosted a full-day Quiz Bowl tournament known as “March Madness” on March 7th, and required volunteers to help run the tournament. AYLUS West Essex members went to the tournament to help set up game rooms, moderate (read questions and scorekeep) games, and help with the directing the tournament.
