AYLUS Great Neck Branch Tutoring at Station Library 95th (3/24/26)


On March 24th, Great Neck AYLUS hosted another successful tutoring session at the Great Neck Library Station Branch from 6:00-7:00 pm.
Junlin helped a fifth grade student with his decimals homework; Completing a variety of reading comprehension problems, and a paragraph about mount everest. Brian helped an elementary student with math problems regarding finding volumes of rectangular prisms and composite shapes, it was very interesting. Linzi also helped an elementary student with reading comprehension of story-telling books and some basic spellings of important words. Summer helped with maths problems involving angles and geometry and completed some reading comprehension questions. And lastly, Laura helped a middle school student with earth science, the study of planets and rocks. Elaine helped another middle school student with earth science as well, focusing on sedimentary rocks and other minerals. Overall it was another great tutoring session to continue the weekly excellence at Great Neck Library, everyone had an amazing time.
