On March 21, 2026, from 7:15 PM to 8:45 PM, Lucy Zhang, Isabel Chen,
Lucy Chen, Jasper Fung, and Helen Liu participated in a food packing
volunteer session at Feed My Starving Children in Chanhassen.
During the session, the group worked collaboratively to complete various
steps of the packing process, including scooping ingredients, weighing,
sealing, and boxing meals. Everyone was actively engaged and
demonstrated strong teamwork, responsibility, and efficiency. Through
their collective efforts, they contributed to preparing nutritious meals for
children and families facing food insecurity around the world. Beyond the
hands-on experience, this activity provided a meaningful opportunity to
reflect on global hunger issues. It helped participants develop a deeper
understanding of the challenges many communities face and the
importance of service and compassion.
This experience highlighted the power of small actions coming together to
create significant change. It encouraged participants to continue engaging
in community service and to remain mindful of ways they can contribute
positively to society in the future.
