GN Station Library
On March 19th, our group conducted volunteer tutoring at the GN Station Library from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, tutoring a high-achieving high school student.
Brian Zhang helped the students organize and complete their daily homework, ensuring it was done carefully and on time. Linzi Yeung and Baiyu Chen focused on reading tutoring, guiding the student to understand the text and explaining any parts they didn’t understand. Jason Zeng was responsible for solving math problems, breaking down difficult concepts to help the student understand the problem-solving process more clearly.
Siwoo Song and Junlin Yu helped two students review key concepts and practice strategies to prepare for the upcoming state exams.
Throughout the tutoring session, everyone remained focused and used their time efficiently. We not only helped the student learn but also gained valuable communication and teaching experience. This was a productive and meaningful volunteer activity, making each hour feel fulfilling and meaningful.
