Greater Triangle Branch launches a Community Clothing Drive (part II) on 03-20-2026

Last month, our team successfully launched a Community Clothing Drive, resulting in a substantial donation of brand new and gently used clothing to Goodwill following a thorough sorting and quality check.

Since then, our volunteers have received an encouraging number of requests through social media from community members eager to recycle additional items. In response to this growing interest, we have decided to continue the initiative on an ongoing, request-driven basis.

This past week (from Mar.15-20,2026), our dedicated volunteers coordinated with donors to schedule convenient pickup times. Demonstrating remarkable commitment, we used our after-school hours to collect and consolidate the donations. On March 20, 2026—a day off from school—the team came together for a focused volunteer day. During this session, we unpacked all recently collected items, organized them by season, and carefully inspected each piece. Our quality check involved looking for damage, dirt, loose buttons, broken zippers, or signs of wear. Our goal was to ensure that only like-new, undamaged items were selected for donation.

The chosen clothing was then delivered to Goodwill, where it will directly benefit individuals and families in our community. We are incredibly proud of our volunteers’ initiative and the positive impact we continue to make.
