On March 16th from 1:30 to 4:30, the AYLUS Dix Hills Branch volunteered at the Long Island Chinese School as teacher assistants. Volunteers chose classrooms to help in, (usually the ones they have been volunteered before), assisting with various tasks such as printing assignments, helping teachers retrieve/hand out materials, watching over classes, and escorting little children to the bathroom. Some volunteers also helped in the chess classes, setting up boards, overseeing games, and keeping track of scores.
Thanks to the efforts of the volunteers, the classrooms were able to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment. Ensuring a fun and enjoyable learning experience for all involved.

Volunteers: Bryan Fan (3.5 hours), Jonathan Fan (3 hours)
