Reported by Jerry Yang
The third online 3D modeling camp, hosted on 2/2/2025, was taught by Jerry Yang with assistance from Eric Huang. From 11:00am to 12:30pm, students were taught new tools like accessing Wireframe view and reviewed old class materials such as orthographic views and adding objects. They warmed up by creating a snowman and had more practice with edit mode tools by following along with Jerry and creating a high-poly cup with a handle. Additionally, Jerry spent one and a half hours making a PowerPoint presentation with 20 slides showing examples
of his own created models and extra tools for ease-of-use in Blender.
Our branch members volunteered from 11:00 am to 12:30 am, contributing a total of 5 volunteer hours:
– Jerry Yang: 1.5 hours (curriculum design and class slideshow creation)
– Jerry Yang: 1.5 hours (teaching)
– Eric Huang: 1.5 hours (teaching)
