On February 1, 2025, AYLUS Great Neck helped decorate Great Neck Main Library for the annual Lunar New Years celebration. Volunteers who participated today assisted in hanging up red lanterns and banners on the library windows and prepping the performance room for the 2/2 lunar new year performance. Additionally, we also learned how to tie Chinese symbolic knots to teach kids during the festival as an arts and crafts workshop. Our volunteers had lots of fun and enjoyed these two hours at the library. We hope that the event tomorrow goes great, and everyone appreciates the decorations.
