On December 7, 2024, three members from our community branch worked on a heartwarming mission: bringing comfort and joy to cancer patients through their own artistic talents. These dedicated youths, armed with creativity and compassion, poured their hearts into crafting beautiful and thoughtful items – knitted hats, stickers, and journals – specifically designed to brighten the days of individuals facing the challenges of cancer. Kits to Heart (KTH) is a non-profit organization that has a mission to bring smiles and solidarity to those affected by cancer.
The following is a breakdown of what each team member contributed:
Audrey Fan – 3 hours (Maksks)
Shawn Ye – 4.5 hours (Crochet hats)
Mandy Xiao – 2 hours (stickers)
