The Aylus Morris Branch is thrilled to bring holiday spirit to the Summit Community Center with their annual “Gift Wrap and Candy” initiative for the 2024 holiday season. This cherished tradition brings together community members and volunteers to spread joy through thoughtful gestures. A total of 115 beautifully wrapped holiday bags, weighing 22 pounds in total, filled with sweet treats and heartfelt notes, were delivered to the Summit Community Center on 12/12/2024 afternoon. These bags creating moments of warmth and happiness for recipients of all ages.
The members of the Aylus Morris Branch dedicated countless hours to meticulously wrapping the candies and crafting heartfelt notes to include inside each package. Their efforts reflect a genuine desire to bring warmth and joy to the recipients during the holiday season. Each note is a testament to the thoughtfulness and care of the volunteers, containing messages of hope, kindness, and festive cheer.
This initiative highlights the power of small, meaningful gestures in making a big impact. The personalized notes, paired with the sweet treats, aim to bring smiles and remind everyone of the love and community spirit that define the holiday season.
