On the morning of September 29, 2024, AYLUS members gathered at the Lexington County clubhouse to work on projects for Loops for Love. Most members were already familiar with the basic stitches and patterns needed to crochet a hat, so many volunteers were able to get started on crocheting with little to no need for additional assistance. This allowed those with more experience to have more time to teach newer volunteers while also being able to work on their own projects. Using the skills they have learned so far, volunteers are now beginning to work on crocheting hats for the Loops for Love project to donate to cancer patients. Overall, this event was a success with lots of progress being made among all of the volunteers.

Volunteers:

Charlotte Chen (Event leader) 4.5 hours

Sathvika Cheyu 3 hours

Julia Shi 3 hours

Hamsika Ganipineni 3 hours

Syona Podila 3 hours

Adithi Vattem 2.5 hours
