On October 5th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS cleaned their adopted park.
The volunteers met at the park then split up, taking different pathways to clean the entire area faster. Some went towards the rose bushes and circled around the bushes, while the others went around the tables and the playground area first. The two groups met at the other end, before passing over the grass together to sweep for any discarded plastics. They then scoured the playground, finding various confetti pieces and an assortment of wrappers. Afterwards, some of the volunteers circled around the bushes once again while others swept the parking lot and sidewalks. They then met to take final photos and throw away the trash bags.
