Since July 2024, AYLUS Pearland has been assisting Project Rise and Shine (PRS) partners in developing a responsive and engaging website to help users learn about PRS’s organization, mission, programs, and events. Volunteers Andy Shi, Aila Jiang, Katherine Wu, Jonathan Niu, and Matthew Niu began working on this project in July 2024.
By September 2024, the web team continued enhancing the website's existing features and adding new functionalities. Aila played a key role in organizing and refining much of the program information, as well as gathering content for the testimonials section. Andy refactored various UI components to improve both the website's visual appeal and ease of maintenance. He also implemented new UI elements and tables to keep users informed about the latest activities. Meanwhile, Katherine, Matthew, and Jonathan from the QA team tested the site for compatibility with existing features and ensured the functionality of the newly added ones. Their feedback was reviewed and implemented by Andy to improve the website further.
