In the morning of September 7th, 2024, a group of AYLUS volunteers helped out special needs kids at the DCFC Church.

In the beginning of the program, new volunteers were trained on what to do and expect. In the first half of the program, we danced and sang with the kids. They learned about the importance of boundaries, and how to be safe. Afterwards, the teachers began an interactive lesson to learn about saving/counting money, an important life skill. Lastly, we set up tables and chairs in preparation for lunch.
This experience with the program taught our volunteers about the significance of teamwork, commitment, and compassion.
