On August 5, 2024, San Diego AYLUS co-hosted a workshop with another Asian volunteer team at TMI (Towards Maximum Independence). The workshop provided information about disabilities and how to help people of all ages with disabilities, including those with autism. The workshop also explored various services that people with disabilities can look for and also important steps for people with certain disabilities. We gave a presentation to the parents and shared our experiences with children with autism from the Smiling Stars teaching program.
