Frisco & Plano Branch Volunteers Collecting PreK-6 Books for African Library Project on August 3rd 2024

Reported by Dawei Zhang and John Zhang

Reported by Jenny Wang

The enormous amount of books we collected was for the awesome organization AYLUS who
uses these books to build African libraries. The amount of books we collected
was thanks to our efficient methods. We used many different ways to collect all the books.
We first went door to door to collect them, then with some time and effort we completed a
sign which we put up outside of our home asking people to donate their unwanted books.
The experience was enjoyable going door to door collecting the books with
our best effort to get to the enormous amount of books we managed to scrape together and
collect. We would say it was a fun experience for everyone who was involved in the book
collecting spree we went on in our neighborhood.
